Embryo Preservation and Adoption

One of the great opportunities available with current medical technology is the creation and preservation of viable embryos. Cryopreserved embryos may be adopted and placed into the womb of either the intended mother or a gestational surrogate.

Intended parents will be asked to share the cost of the in vitro fertilization. The agency receives a fee to enable it to continue providing embryos. It is possible to have a known donor arrangement whereby the child may have the opportunity of contacting their biological parents and siblings.

You as embryo donor may have the ability to influence who would be able to adopt or use your embryos. If the adopting couple were to so desire, contact with the child born may be an option.
